(La Plata, MD) — A Charles County Circuit Court judge is reportedly admitting he let the air out of car tire belonging to a cleaning woman who works at his court. According to the “Washington Post,” Judge Robert Nalley told another judge, William Missouri, that “he didn’t think it was a big deal.” Missouri is the chief administrative judge for Maryland’s 7th Circuit and Nalley’s superior. Nalley did apologize — not for letting the air out of 51-year-old Jean Washington’s tire, but for not telling Missouri about the incident before Missouri read about it in a newspaper. The cleaning lady may have parked in a restricted zone, although she says it was not clearly marked. So far, no charges have been filed in the incident, although the investigation is continuing. Missouri also could sanction Nalley.
