Circuit Repairs, Track Work To Cause Weekend Delays On Metro

(Washington, DC) — Pack your patience if you plan to take Metro’s Red or Orange lines this weekend. The Fort Totten station will be closed all weekend as workers replace track circuitry near the site of the worst accident in Metro’s history. Shuttle bus will be provided, but be prepared for delays. Over on the Orange line, plan to add another 30 minutes to your trip between Vienna and West Falls Church, as crews work on track repairs. The work should be picked up by the Monday morning commute.
