The Washington Washington Football Team have fired Director of Pro Personnel Alex Santos, according to Kareem Copeland of The Washington Post. Santos has held the position since 2014, and according the the team’s website, was responsible for “coordinating the advance scouting of Washington Football Team opponents and the evaluation of all professional leagues for potential free agents and trade prospects. He also contributes to the team’s draft preparation, making school visits to help evaluate top college talent.”

The Washington Football Team have also fired head trainer Larry Hess, according to J.P. Finlay of NBC Sports Washington. Hess had been with the Washington Football Team for 17 seasons in various roles, but came under fire in recent years, most notably when Trent Williams sat out the ’19’20 season citing displeasure with how the Washington Football Team’s medical staff handled his health. Hess’s role, according to the team’s website, was to “oversee the team’s athletic training and medical needs and works as a liaison to the coaching staff and front office.”
