WASHINGTON, D.C. – On Tuesday night, about 200 District residents joined D.C. Delegate Eleanor Holmes Norton for a question and answer session on health care.

The Fact Check forum was held inside the Commerce Department. D.C. residents had to show identification before being allowed to attend the meeting.

Unlike other Health Care meetings in Virginia and Maryland recently, there was no arguing by those divided over health care reform.

Delegate Norton told the audience that she has received about 2,000 letters from District residents. Many of those letters had questions that she wanted to answer. A panel of medical and insurance experts was put together to answer those questions.

No one spoke out again health care reform at Norton’s meeting. FOX 5 asked staff if they had edited questions before hand, but were told no questions were overlooked because they were anti-reform.
