While the Powerball jackpot eluded players this weekend, two lucky Marylanders secured $50,000 each in Lanham and Oxon Hill. The Powerball prize now stands at an impressive $672 million, with a tempting one-time cash option of around $320.5 million.
But that’s not all the good news from the Maryland Lottery. A player in Emmitsburg won a life-changing $1,000 a week with Cash4Life, while a Multi-Match player in Upper Marlboro snagged $580,000. Annapolis also sold a FAST PLAY ticket worth $171,694, and a fortunate player from Frederick claimed a $100,000 scratch-off prize.
In total, The Maryland Lottery reports that in the week ending September 17th, 39 tickets worth $10,000 or more were either sold or redeemed, with a staggering $26.3 million paid out in prizes.
