VIA MYFOXDC:

ROCKVILLE, Md. – The Prince Georges County Health Department dispensed the swine flu vaccine at its first clinic for the general public Thursday.

The clinics will continue at the Cheverly Health Center at 3003 Hospital Drive every Thursday from 9am until Noon, as long as the county continues to get the vaccine.

Long lines wrapped around the building starting at 5:50 Thursday morning.

Joanna Eisenacher from Columbia, Maryland brought her family. She is pregnant and tried to get the shot Wednesday morning at the Piccard Drive Health Center in Rockville, but the shot form of the vaccine ran out before she could receive it.

Prince Georges County Health Officer Dr. Donald Shell said they had 400 doses of the swine flu vaccine at the Cheverly location, but was unsure if everyone in line would get the vaccine.
