Social activist Rev. William Barber will be in our classroom to outline this month’s Poor People’s Campaign, scheduled for Washington, DC later this month. The event will feature a march and rally to draw attention to the nation’s issues of poverty, low wages, and voter information. Before Rev. Barber’s presentation, we’ll preview the ADACCI Annual Maafa Commemoration and Riverwalk Healing Ceremony set for this weekend, with New York political activist Charles Barron and the Faith Brothers also joining us.
