White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles has been diagnosed with early-stage breast cancer, President Donald Trump announced Monday.

Trump shared the news in a post on Truth Social. He said doctors detected the cancer early and described Wiles’ outlook as positive.

“Her prognosis is excellent,” Trump wrote, adding that she has “a fantastic team of doctors.”

Trump said Wiles plans to remain active in her role while receiving treatment. He said she will continue working “virtually full time” at the White House.

Wiles has served as chief of staff since January 2025. She became the first woman to hold the position.

Before joining the White House, Wiles built a reputation as one of the most influential Republican strategists. She managed Trump’s successful 2024 presidential campaign.

She also played a major role in Trump’s 2016 campaign operations in Florida.
