(Washington, DC) — Metro is working with a vendor to develop technology ordered by federal transportation leaders in the wake of the deadly crash on the Red line. Annapolis-based ARINC will build a real-time computer system to help Metro keep trains from running into each other. Yesterday, General Manager John Catoe admitted Metro has found other problems outside the crash site. Circuit anomalies were discovered between Grosvenor and Medical Center on Red line, Foggy Bottom and Rosslyn on the Blue-Orange line, and between Courthouse and Clarendon on Orange line.
