(Washington, DC)  —  Union nurses in Northwest DC say, this time, they’re definitely walking. With negotiations again stalled, members of National Nurses United have told Washington Hospital Center that they will strike this Friday.  The 16-hundred-50 registered nurses say the issues are wages, patient care, a lack of staffing and labor practices.  The union originally planned to strike the Hospital Center in October, but returned to contract talks.
