5. Fahrenheit 9/11

Michael Moore made an excellent documentary sbout the political climates both before and after 9/11. The movie almost cost Bush the Presidency with its clever narration and uses of footage.

The movie was both poignant and clever and captured Bush’s first term and how he used the fears generated by 9/11 to drive the unjust and unnecessary wars in Afghanistan and Iraq. The movie captured the fear and anger after 9/11 and how it was misused by our politicians.

1. The Siege

Despite the fact that “The Siege” was filmed three years before 9/11it accurately predicted the paranoia , overreaction and loss of liberties that 9/11 would bring. In the movie after the FBI office is bombed, and Islamic terror cells begin plaguing America, Muslims are rounded up into internment camps.
