The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Foundation recognizes the contributions of those who have significantly impacted the evolution, development, and perpetuation of rock and roll by inducting them into the Hall of Fame. To be eligible for induction, the artist must have released its first single or album 25 years ago. Inductees will be announced in the coming weeks, with the ceremony scheduled for April 14, 2012.
