(Elkton, MD) — A 62-year-old Elkton-area woman will serve six months of home detention for illegally giving an abortion pill to a pregnant 16-year-old. Sandra Craine was sentenced yesterday after pleading guilty to reckless endangerment in December. Prosecutors said Craine bought RU-486 pills from an overseas website before giving them to the girl. According to the “Cecil Whig,” the teen gave birth two hours later but the baby soon died.
