About Kei-Touch

DJ Kei-Touch is a proud native of Houston, Texas. She grew up with an appreciation for music and radio. Exposure to the arts as a child fueled her curiosity, which eventually lead to her learning to play the trombone, piano and the flute throughout school.  After graduating from high school, she joined the Army that took her from Houston to Germany and eventually to the DC metropolitan area.  During her tenure in the Army, she never let go of her passion for music and radio and pursued those passions after she completed her service.

DJ Kei-Touch joined the Radio One family, founded by media mogul Cathy Hughes.  Since joining Radio One, DJ Kei-Touch has been able to be mentored by some of the best DJs and talk show hosts in the business which inspired her to step out on her own and becoming a respected DJ.  She has been called on to DJ at Majic 102.3 and Praise 104.1 events as well as The Howard Theater (Kem, Chrisette Michelle and India Arie concerts), The Fillmore (Black Men Revealed), Lincoln Theater (Dave Hollister and Jon B), Congressional Black Caucus (Ledisi), and most recently to MC AND DJ Blacks in Government, Region XI’s 1st virtual gala.

As passionate as DJ Kei-Touch is about music and radio, her passion runs just as deep for business, technology and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math).  After seeing the 2016 movie Hidden Figures, she was inspired to research and discover African American leaders, entrepreneurs and business owners who may unknown innovators in the field of business, technology and STEM.  This curiosity evolved into a “Hidden Figures” segment which spotlighted these industry leaders every Sunday on Praise 104.1 FM from January 2017-November 2019.  The segment was so well received that in June 2017, “The Outlet Tech & Entertainment Connect” aired its first episode on WOL 1450 AM - Radio One’s flagship station. The Outlet has since featured many black pioneers and entrepreneurs in their respected fields promoting Black STEMs and cutting-edge technology.  The Outlet has had the privilege of interviewing notable guests that embody Black Brilliance such as Dr. Aminta Breaux, Bowie State University President; Ms. Shirley A.
