(Washington, DC) — The Chinese sculptor who was brought in to remove a quote at the Martin Luther King Junior Memorial will get down to work today.  The controversial quote on the side of the memorial reads, “I was a drum major for justice, peace and righteousness.”  It’s an abbreviated version of what King actually said.  Crews hope to have the quote removed in time for the 50th anniversary of the March on Washington, which is about a month away.
