(Washington, DC) – DC police are calling it a hate crime. A 28-year-old man was beaten and robbed early Saturday in Adams Morgan. His attackers reportedly yelled “This is for Trayvon Martin” as they punched and kicked the victim on Euclid Street, NW. The man’s wallet and iPhone were also stolen. These people live in the area, and say it’s sad. Police are still searching for the suspects. The victim, who is from Bethesda, is recovering from his Injuries.
