The girl’s mother, Maria Corral, reportedly had drug trafficking charges against her dropped shortly after she and four others were arrested in February of last year.

Police aren’t saying much about how they found Perez, only that they found the 14-year-old nearly 26 miles from home.

Tuesday morning, Ayvani, 14 was taken from her home by two armed burglars in Clayton County.
