DC’s Mayor Calls For Common Sense Gun Control

Following Monday’s shooting rampage at the Washington Navy Yard, DC Mayor Vincent Gray says it’s time for members of Congress to pass common sense gun control measures.

Gray notes the strict gun laws in DC, and how someone like Aaron Alexis would never have been able to legally purchase a gun in the city.  Instead, Alexis bought his shotgun at a gun store in Virginia, a state with much more relaxed gun laws.  Gray says there are too many different gun laws across the country.
