(Washington, DC) – As investigators continue to search for a motive in Monday’s Navy Yard shootings, there is speculation that the massacre may have stemmed from a workplace dispute. Speaking on the condition of anonymity, law enforcement officials tell the “Washington Post” that gunman Aaron Alexis began his shooting spree on the fourth floor, where he shot people who worked with him. Alexis worked for a contractor that was upgrading computers and there may have been concerns about his performance by those working in his department. One law enforcement source tells the “Post” that investigators are trying to determine if the people who were shot first were those who Alexis had issues with.
