(Rockville, MD) – Montgomery County high school students could be getting more sleep if recommendations for later school start times are approved. Schools Superintendent Joshua Starr is proposing high schools start at 8:15 a.m. instead of 7:25 a.m. Starr says teenagers are simply “not getting enough sleep” and called it a public health and safety issue.
