Born Charlene Keys, we were first introduced to Tweet after the release of her sultry chart-topping hit Oops (Oh My). Since then the Grammy nominated singer, songwriter, and producer has been relatively quiet. With a new album, new label and new man, Tweet has released her third album entitled, CHARLENE and has teamed up with old friend Missy Elliott.
She talks to the Tom Joyner Morning Show about her hiatus from music, the special guy in her life and more.
“I had to kind of pull myself back and get myself right spiritually in order to know if this is what I was created to do. My personal life was spiraling out of control. I was drinking every day and smoking all day…I hit rock bottom.”
