Roland Martin talks to Dr. Steve Perry about his partnership with Sean Diddy Combs about their new charter school in Harlem.
“He approached me saying he wanted to start a school and I told him no, it was hard work, just write a check and he said no, I want to do something bigger. Six years later, this summer, we’re going to be opening up a charter school in Harlem. We went to housing projects and community services and made relationships with the people.”
