Protests Continue In Baton Rouge After Police Shooting Death Of Alton Sterling

According to reports, a gunman opened fire on police officers in Baton Rouge on Sunday, injuring at least seven. 3 officers are dead.

CNN reports “police received a call of “suspicious person walking down Airline Highway with an assault rifle.” When police arrived he opened fire.
The remaining officers are hospitalized in critical condition. The officers were from Baton Rouge Police Department and the East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff’s Office.
The shooting happened 11 days after Alton Sterling was shot and killed by Baton Rouge police.
