“One of the officers that were a jail there submitted forms there said that a check on Sandy took place and it did not. We filed a wrongful death lawsuit nearly a year ago. For nearly nine and half months, because of the way the police dealt with things, we were precluded from involving ourselves in the case,” Lambert said.
