Gospel legend and producer Kirk Franklin has new music and he’s teamed up with Pharrell on the hit single 123 Victory.

Kirk talks to the Tom Joyner Morning Show about how he hooked up with Pharrell, hanging out with Kanye and much more.

“A DJ heard the original and said the song was dope and that we needed to do a remix. So we bounced around some ideas. Pharrell and I have been friends for 15 years, so I reached out to him and he said it’s time for us to do something.”

Is Kanye crazy in real life?

“He’s a very kind guy. He’s very passionate about what he belives. He came to my home a couople of years ago for Thanksgiving and that’s how the relationship started.”
