Police were called to Heritage High School at about 11:30 a.m. today and the following statement was given from a Newport News Police spokesperson: “Two people were taken to the hospital with gunshot wounds that are not believed to be life-threatening.”
According to police, a male student was shot in the face and a female student was shot in the leg.See story here
