(Washington, DC)  —  It’s already hot, but forecasters are warning that tomorrow will be over the top.  The National Weather Service has issued an “Excessive Heat Watch” from tomorrow afternoon to the evening hours for the metro Washington area.  Temperatures will climb to as high as 100 degrees, with heat index values ranging from 105 to 110 degrees.  The combination of extreme heat and high humidity will create a dangerous situation in which heat illnesses can affect people very quickly.
