The state of Michigan proposed $97 million deal to replace lead pipes and provide free bottle water to residents to combat the water crisis in Flint.

A federal judge rejected a brief filed by Michigan Attorney General Bill Schuette in support of Flint residents Tuesday, citing that Schuette has brought up a "troubling ethical issue" in the case.

Several groups and a resident returned back to federal court Wednesday to push for an order requiring Michigan state and city officials to deliver bottled water to certain homes in Flint.
