(Washington, DC) — Gas prices inched up for a second straight week in the Washington metropolitan area. The latest MetroSource Price at the Pump survey finds regular unleaded gasoline selling for $2.64, on average. That’s a six-cent increase over the past week. Premium prices rose seven-cents, to $2.91 a gallon, on average. The U.S. Energy Information Administration says the average price for a gallon of diesel in the Central Atlantic states now stands at $2.67.
