Wintley Phipps Joins Bernie McCain To Talk About The Power Of A Dream Gala.

World renounced gospel singer Wintley Phipps, founder and CEO of the U.S. Dream Academy joins Bernie McCain at 4pm eastern to talk about the 9th annual Power Of A Dream Gala tomorrow at the Ritz Carlton Hotel in downtown Washington, D.C. Phipps created the program to serve a population that he saw as overlooked and undervalued: children with incarcerated parents. Phipps is an ordained Seventh-day Adventist minister and Grammy-nominated vocal artist. The annual event honors those making a difference in young people’s lives with their philanthropic efforts. This years honorees include: news anchor Dan Rather; The Honorable Sheila Jackson Lee (D-TX); award winning actress Angela Bassett; Judge Joe Brown; Mary Bryant Tucker, (mother of actor comedian Chris Tucker) and Ashley Tyrrel will be honored as Mentor of the year. Returning hosts are actor/comedian Chris Tucker and news anchor Cynne Simpson.
