(Bethesda, MD) – Government contractor Lockheed Martin is reducing the number of furloughs for its employees. According to the “Wall Street Journal,” the Bethesda-based firm will temporarily lay off about 24-hundred workers instead of the three-thousand it announced last week. Most of those furloughed due to the federal government shutdown are civilians.
