(Washington, DC) — Gasoline prices jumped again this week in the Washington metropolitan area. According to the the latest MetroSource Price at the Pump survey, a gallon of regular unleaded went up six-cents, to $2.70, on average. Premium rose four-cents, to $2.95 a gallon, on average. The U.S. Energy Information Administration says the average price for a gallon of diesel in the Central Atlantic states now stands at $2.75.
