The Baltimore City Council on Monday called for the General Assembly lawmakers to pass a bill mandating a $15 minimum wage in Maryland. Last year Mayor Catherine Pugh vetoed the same thing presented by the City Council which tried unsuccessfully to raise Baltimore’s minimum wage. This time around Mayor Pugh joined the council members Monday in calling for the state to take action.
