According to reports, a new COVID-19 variant called IHU is moving in in France and has 46 mutations. Researchers say this variant was detected in France and showed up in a traveler recently arrived from a three-day stay in Cameroon, French researchers said in a pre-print study published on medRxiv, which means it has not yet been peer-reviewed and this particular variant is even more infectious than the Omicron.
