(Fairfax, VA) — The Fairfax County urban search and rescue team is now in Japan. Seventy-two people are being directed to hard-hit areas with about 75 tons of equipment as well as six search and rescue dogs. The team also includes doctors, paramedics, and structural engineers. They have special cameras and listening devices to find people who may be alive under the rubble.
