(Washington, DC)  —  A criminal investigation is underway after boxes of burial records from Arlington National Cemetery were found in an abandoned storage unit in Northern Virginia.  The records were discovered June 10th and news of their recovery was made public during a U.S. House hearing yesterday.  The 69 boxes contained copies of grave cards given to a contractor to help create a database. Officials are now trying to determine where the contractor is and why the records were left in a storage unit.
